With my art I want to set the viewer heart aflame, inspire inner stories, memories, narrative… I paint images that are feminine, evocative and powerful, that draws in for a search of details. My sources of inspiration are music, readings , dance, and the profound personal journeys. I had numerous experiences between Italy where my home resides, London and U.K. with all its eclectic inspirations, and now since 7 years Denmark. Continuing my artistic growth and capability to transmit something valuable, my art always had and has a leitmotif: A search for beauty and meaning in all its form, and a search for feelings: My vision is to be able to touch with my art people’s inner world, and so evoke beauty, this last one, a result of deep introspection and shadow work.
In the context of this exhibition at the Water Tower, the artworks and the subjects painted merge and are enriched by the reflections of the architecture, the light, and the movements of the visitors, their reflections… creating a play of echoes and perspectives that encourages the viewer to question the very nature of reality and the relationship between the inside and the outside.
This magical collection presents artworks realised with inks, acrylics and watercolours,
consequently entwined with the mirror layer, this obtained by skilfully removing some of its parts, then adorned with gold frames in various sizes that I carefully selected from antiques, radiating an enchanted charm.
They are a compelling invitation to engage deeply : creating a profound dialogue between the observer, the subject painted, the surrounding and one self reflected,
Awakening a narrative and takes you by the hand for an inner story.
