History
Simone Desirò was born in Biella in 1977. An interior decorator, in 2005 he became passionate about working with scagliola. Scagliola is a rare art that has made Italy great throughout the world since 1700. After the first workshop at the Associazione del Marmo Artificiale di Rima in Valsesia (Piedmont), today Simone holds the role of teacher in the association’s workshops, to protect this heritage. In his laboratory in Zubiena (Biella) Simone wants to give new light to this art. Since 2016 Simone has worked with international designers to create objects for international collectible design galleries and for famous fashion brands.
