Antonella Iuliano | Cake Designer

History

Antonella Iuliano. I was born in Biella on May 11, 1971, where I currently reside. I come from a childhood filled with sugar, vanilla, and a thousand colors. My grandmother was a pastry chef, and I was fascinated by her work. After years of suppressing my passion and working in jobs I truly didn’t enjoy, I went against my family’s wishes. I rebelled against an ordinary life and secretly enrolled at the Italian Cake Design International School in Milan, giving free rein to my passion and creativity and starting my career as a pastry chef.

After obtaining my professional PME diplomas, I worked hard in various pastry labs in my area to complete my professional training as thoroughly as possible. In 2021, I won the bronze medal in Rome at the FIPGC World Championships in the “Decorated Panettone” category, and in 2023, I won the silver medal in Naples, again at the FIPGC World Championships in the same category.

With deep love and respect for my craft, I continue to create with my hands every day, always keeping in mind the words of one of my mentors: “From the heart to the hands, Antonella, never forget it!” This is my secret; this is my world… and it’s here that I want to stay. With a whisk between my fingers, the scent of candied fruits, and a smile always in my pocket!
