Annamaria avrà la sua prima mostra personale da LOOM Gallery, che negli ultimi mesi ha approfondito la ricerca sugli anni settanta. Proprio in quegli anni, dopo il figurativo del decennio precedente, Anna- maria passa all’elaborazione di elementi geometrici essenziali quali quadrato, rettangolo, triangolo e cerchio.
La sperimentazione riguarda anche i supporti, in materiali come plexiglas, acetato e metacrilato, le cui trasparenze permettono di scomporre luminosità e colore, creando giochi di luce e ombra che parto- no dai materiali e coinvolgono poi lo spazio circostante.
Un’importante mostra di quel periodo è infatti “Luce e Materia. Il metacrilato nell’arte”, presentata in catalogo da Giulio Carlo Argan.
Quelle ricerche la portano nel gruppo di Calice Ligure e nelle varie mostre a Milano da Interarte e da Arte Struktura. Iniziano in quegli anni le frequentazioni con i critici e le penne influenti che scriveran- no di lei: Franco Rella, Gabriella Belli, Flaminio Gualdoni, Marco Meneguzzo, Giorgio Verzotti, Danilo Escher, Luigi Serravalli, Bruno D’Amore, tra gli altri.
Si palesa una ricerca rigorosa e calcolata, ma affrontata con emozione. Perché le rotazioni delle forme non sono altro che possibili viaggi all’interno dello spazio del supporto. Movimenti che altrimenti non vedremmo e a cui Annamaria sceglie di dar vita, come fosse la messa in scena di un’opera teatrale o la stesura di un bel racconto prima solo pensato.
Il successivo decennio inizierà con la mostra al Mart di Rovereto dove Annamaria sarà la prima artista vivente ad avere una personale al Mart e sarà finalmente celebrata nella sua Trento, con curatori, col- lezionisti, amici e lo Spartaco del titolo, che nei suoi discorsi tuttora rientra sempre.
Spartaco Benvegnù era filosofo, sociologo, poeta, letterato, amato marito.

Annamaria will have her first solo show at LOOM Gallery, that in recent months has deepened its re- search on the seventies. In those years, after the academic figurative of the previous decade, Annamaria moved on to the elaboration of essential geometric elements such as square, rectangle, triangle and circle.
The experimentation also concerns the supports, employing materials such as plexiglas, acetate and methacrylate. Their transparencies allow her to break down brightness and color, creating light and shadow effects that from the materials can then involve the surrounding space. An important exhibition of that period is in fact “Light and Matter. Methacrylate in art”, presented in the catalog by Giulio Carlo Argan.
Those researches lead her to the Calice Ligure group and to the various exhibitions in Milan by Interarte and Arte Struktura. In those years the acquaintances with the critics and the influential personalities who write about her begin: Franco Rella, Gabriella Belli, Flaminio Gualdoni, Marco Meneguzzo, Giorgio Verzotti, Danilo Escher, Luigi Serravalli, Bruno D’Amore, among others.
A rigorous and calculated research, but faced with emotion, is revealed. Because the rotations of the shapes are nothing but possible trips within the space of the support. Movements that otherwise we would not see and to which Annamaria chooses to give life, as if it were the staging of a theatrical work or the drawing up of a beautiful story before just thought.
The next decade will begin with the exhibition at the Mart in Rovereto where Annamaria will be the first living artist to have a solo show at the Mart and will finally be celebrated in her Trento, with curators, collectors, friends and the Spartaco of the title, who in her speeches still falls always.
Spartaco Benvegnù was a philosopher, sociologist, poet, writer and beloved husband.
